Medieval art history journal appoints CI professor to its editorial board

The renowned academic journal that focuses on medieval art, "Gesta," has appointed Professor of Art History Alison Locke Perchuk to its editorial board for a three-year term. "Gesta" features peer-reviewed, original research that explores art and architecture from around 300 to 1500 C.E.

The publication recognized one of Dr. Perchuk's works nearly a decade ago, "Schismatic (Re)Visions: S. Elia near Nepi and S. Maria in Trastevere in Rome, 1120–43," and in 2018, the work received the Van Courtlandt Elliott Prize.
