Jessica Lavariega Monforti serves as Provost of California State University Channel
Islands, providing leadership for the University’s academic mission and supporting
student success, faculty excellence, and institutional effectiveness. During her tenure,
Provost Lavariega Monforti has led implementation of CSUCI’s Academic Master Plan,
advanced the University’s strategic priorities, and supported the successful reaffirmation
of WSCUC accreditation.
The Provost’s Office oversees academic programs, faculty affairs, accreditation, and academic planning.
