Admission Requirements

1. Application – Apply to the University Admissions office through Cal State Apply.
2. Official transcripts –Send to Admissions admissions@csuci.edu. 
3. Two letters of recommendation from professors or professional supervisors.
4. Personal Statement – Write a one-page, single-spaced personal statement (saved as PDF) explaining your interest in pursuing a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies and how your experience has prepared you for graduate-level work. The essay should describe experiences working with young children in early childhood settings. 
5. BA in Early Childhood Studies, Child Development, Human Development, Family Studies or closely related field. 
6. 2.50 GPA in the last 60 undergraduate hours.
7. CV or Resume
