Project Description:
The Central Mall Renovation project is a multi-phase project to beautify the iconic center of campus while improve accessibility between the North Quad and South Quad.

Project Status:
The current phase under construction is adds permanent pavers between the Bell Tower and University Hall which will improve pedestrian access across the Mall. These pavers allow rainwater to percolate into the groundwater, reducing the amount of runoff water into the storm drain system.
Future phases of the Central Mall project will include similar hardscape paving on the east and west side providing permanent pedestrian paving from Ventura Street to Camarillo Street. These phases will also include landscaping improvements which will complete the beautification of the Central Mall.
