Types of Study Abroad Programs

  • [CSU IP] or "CSU International Programs" are programs open to all CSU students and are administered by the CSU Chancellor's Office. Students pay home campus tuition. 
  • [Exchange] programs are partner university programs which are open to all CSUCI students. Students pay home campus tuition/fees.
  • [Direct Enroll] programs are where students pay tuition to the partner university. 
  • [Faculty-Led] programs are courses led by CSUCI faculty around a theme and destination, typically offered during regular semester with travel during designated breaks (Summer, Winter, Spring Break). 
  • [Provider] programs are independent study abroad organizations that administer a program. Students pay tuition/fees to the provider.
