The CSU Channel Islands Dolphin Pantry exists to provide food, toiletries and basic necessities at no cost to students in need. The Dolphin Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food and basic necessity insecurities have on the academic success of students. The Dolphin Pantry is open over the summer. African American Enrichment Academy (AAEA)

The African-American Enrichment Academy (AAEA), in partnership with the Pinkard Youth Institute, California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) and the Oxnard Union School District, offers this exceptional opportunity for African-American high school students with a week-long university campus experience and curriculum designed to promote and encourage the development of academic/ life skills, college participation, cultural pride and overall personal development. AAEA hopes to inspire participants to become lifelong learners and productive citizens of the world. This goal will be achieved through strategically increasing student’s knowledge, effective study skills, self-awareness, comprehension and application of life/career planning, and public speaking/communication skills.
