1. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link
  2. Click the "Insert/edit link" button on the toolbar
  3. If you're linking to a website, simply enter the URL in the "Link URL" field.
  4. If you're linking to a CI webpage:
    1. Click the Browse icon next to the "Link URL" field
    2. Navigate to the directory containing the page you want to link to
    3. Click the file you want to link to, then click the "Select File" button
  5. Select the desired target (i.e.: new window, etc.) for your link
  6. Click "Insert"

Uploading/ Linking to Documents Using the WYSIWYG Editor

  1. To upload/link to a document, highlight the text you want to turn into a link
  2. Click the "Insert/edit link" icon
  3. Click the Browse icon next to the "Link URL" field
  4. Navigate to the directory where you want to upload your document
    1. If the document has already been uploaded, simply navigate to the directory where the document is located and skip to step 11
  5. Click the "Upload" button
  6. Click "Browse..."
  7. Locate and select the document you want to upload, then click "Open"
  8. If your file has any invalid characters in the name, (only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens are allowed) enter a new name in the "New File Name" field including the file type extension (i.e.: .pdf, .doc, etc.) Otherwise, you'll receive an error upon trying to upload your document.
  9. Click "Upload"
  10. You'll receive a success message once the file has been uploaded
  11. Click the file you want to link to, then click the "Select File" button
  12. Click "Insert"
  13. Next, click the "Add predefined snippet content" icon on the toolbar
  14. Choose "Accessibility" from the Category drop-down menu
  15. Choose the snippet that correlates with the type of document you've uploaded/linked to (i.e.: PDF, xxKB, etc.)
  16. Click "Insert"
  17. Lastly, change the "xxKB" text to reflect the size of the document you're linking to
  18. Save your changes to the page
