Pasting from Word documents can sometimes cause a loss of formatting structure. Fortunately, within EchoCI, there is a feature that allows you to paste from Word and maintain your formatting.

  1. Select the content of your Word document that you want to copy
  2. Right-click then click "Copy" or press Ctrl+C on your keyboard (Cmd+C on Mac)
  3. In EchoCI, navigate to the page that you want to paste your content into and open the editor
  4. Click the "Paste" button on the toolbar

  5. Paste the content into the Paste from Word dialog window (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V on Mac)
  6. Verify that the content copied as you intended, then click "Insert"
  7. Click "Save" to save your changes when you're done
  8. You'll then be able to see a preview of what your pasted content will look like on the CI website
