Pasting from Word documents can sometimes cause a loss of formatting structure. Fortunately, within EchoCI, there is a feature that allows you to paste from Word and maintain your formatting.
- Select the content of your Word document that you want to copy
- Right-click then click "Copy" or press Ctrl+C on your keyboard (Cmd+C on Mac)
- In EchoCI, navigate to the page that you want to paste your content into and open the editor
- Click the "Paste" button on the toolbar
- Paste the content into the Paste from Word dialog window (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V on Mac)
- Verify that the content copied as you intended, then click "Insert"
- Click "Save" to save your changes when you're done
- You'll then be able to see a preview of what your pasted content will look like on the CI website
