Purpose
The University Outreach Pathway to College Campus Visit Program at CSU Channel Islands looks to motivate and inform K-8th grade students about the benefits of higher education and goal setting for a brighter future. Serving K-8th grade students of the Ventura County region, primarily from historically minoritized and low-income communities with first-generation college potential, the Pathway to College experience seeks to create a university-going culture through distinct college readiness programs.
Programs offered:
- K-8th grade CSUCI campus tour & presentation-in-person, Fridays
Middle School (6th-8th grade) Virtual Campus & Student Success Presentation (1 hour)
