Aug. 22, 2022- Per the Aug. 4 campus update, we remind the campus community that masks are currently required while indoors at CSUCI or an affiliate location (Channel Islands Boating Center, Santa Rosa Island Research Station, and Goleta instructional site). Ventura County remains in the “high” community transmission level and we continue to promote a healthy campus environment by exceeding baseline public health recommendations. We will continue to monitor Ventura County’s Community Level in relation to our indoor mask wearing requirement and will update the campus community should the requirement change.
In addition to the indoor masking requirement, COVID-19 testing remains available, free of charge, to those who are symptomatic or have had a high-level exposure to someone with COVID-19. Weekly testing is no longer required for students or employees with qualified medical exemptions at this time, since current COVID infections from new variants are impacting people regardless of vaccination status.
Visit the COVID-19 website for information about testing location and hours.
We appreciate the campus community’s continued commitment to keeping one another safe and healthy.
