Aug. 7, 2023 — The CSU Channel Islands community is invited to the Grand Opening of Anacapa Canyon on Saturday, Aug. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants can explore the Channel Vista townhouses and Sol Vista single-family houses in the housing community located on a 32-acre parcel next to the CSU Channel Islands campus. Channel Vista features three- to five-bedroom houses up to 2,040 square feet. Sol Vista features three- and four-bedroom attached townhouses up to 1,725 square feet.
Free food from Juarez Tacos Food Truck and live music from the 805 All Starz will be provided.
The event will be held at 310 Fraser Point.
Anacapa Canyon is a master-planned, mixed-residential community consisting of 310 market-rate apartments, 170 age/income-restricted apartments and 109 single-family houses and townhouses. The development, which is adjacent to the existing University Glen community, will feature many amenities including a clubhouse, pool, fitness center and recreational park areas and trails.
The development is being privately funded and constructed by Southern California-based real estate investment and development firm Kennedy Wilson and its partners. Construction began in 2021.
