Join us for a presentation by Professor Alison Perchuk exploring the work of Lucile
Lloyd, in conjunction with the ongoing Faculty Art Exhibition. The lecture will be
held in the Napa Hall Art Gallery on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m., no registration
is necessary to attend.
Alison Locke Perchuk is Professor of Art History at CSU Channel Islands and an expert on the art and architecture of medieval Italy. Her scholarship has won awards from the Medieval Academy of America and been supported by numerous fellowships, and she regularly publishes and speaks nationally and internationally in both English and Italian. Recently she has turned her eye to how medieval art and architecture has been woven into the southern California landscape; this talk is based on research in the archives at UC Santa Barbara.
