Events this month at the Black Cultural Center

Feb. 6, 2024 - This month the Black Cultural Center at CSUCI will host a number of activities, providing opportunities for students to gather and share space together. See below for  a list of events and save the dates on your calendar! All events, with the exception of Super Saturday, will be held at the Black Cultural Center, located in Bell Tower 1518.

• Rap and R&B Karaoke Night
  Feb. 7, 5 to 9 p.m.
  Join us for music, games, and more!
• Black Table Talks
  Feb. 8, 5 to 9 p.m.
  Join the Black Cultural Centers team as we discuss what it means to be a part of the Black community at CSUCI
  
  
• Cultural Triple Ps (Painting, Pizza & Playlist)
  Feb. 13, 5 to 9 p.m.
  Join us in the Black Cultural Center for a fun night of painting, pizza, and music!
  
  
• Love Yourself DIY Kits
  Feb. 14, noon to 9 p.m.
  Celebrate Valentine's Day by practicing self-care and making a personalized goodie bag with chocolates, skin care, and more!
  
  
• Sip and Craft
  Feb. 15, 5 to 9 p.m.
  Join us for a cup of warm apple cider and learn how to make African-inspired bracelets
  
  
• Soul Food Tuesday
  Feb. 20, 5 to 8 p.m.
  Come and grab a plate of soul food, during an event filled with R&B music, games, and good vibes!
  
  
• Super Saturday (check-in held in the Grand Salon)
  Feb. 24, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  We welcome our Black Admitted Students and their families to join us and learn more about the campus, receive information and resources for supporters, and celebrate your admission to CSU Channel Islands! We will have food & entertainment!
  
  
• Family Reunion (Black History Month Social)
  Feb. 27, 6 to 8 p.m.
  You're invited! Join the Black Cultural Center as we close out Black History Month with games, free food, live music, prizes, and more!
