Feb. 8, 2022 – February is Black History Month and this year’s theme is Black Health and Wellness. Join us in celebrating Black History Month by getting involved with some of the programs being offered this month.
The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to host a Black History Month Social on Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Mall. Stop by and enjoy games, music and celebrate the contributions of Black leaders and pioneers. Additionally, the Student Programming Board will host a Movie Under the Stars on Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the South Quad – bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy a screening of Marvel’s Black Panther!
The Multicultural Dream Center (MDC) invites everyone to stop by and enjoy their festive décor and observe part of the BTG exhibit, which will be on display Mondays-Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. all month long. Be sure to follow the MDC on Instagram to keep up to date with events and view their Black History Month features!
