A young man stands at a table with emergency safety equipment and a red tablecloth that says "Emergency Management"Feb. 27, 2024 - CSUCI is thrilled to be developing its own Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a team of community members who will learn about potential disasters that could affect our area and how to safely and responsibly respond to them. Help build our team to serve the CSUCI and University Glen communities.  
 
Those who sign up will receive a minimum of 20 hours of free training that teaches them disaster response skills like fire safety, team organization, potential hazards, and disaster medical operations.
 
The dates for this training are: 
  • March 12, 19, 26
  • April 2, 9, 16
  • Final drill: April 20 or 27
Each session will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Aliso Hall 150 at CSUCI.
