36-day hunger drive

Feb. 23, 2022 - In honor of César Chávez Day of National Service, the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is partnering with Basic Needs for a food drive. Non-perishable items will be collected over 36 days, from Wednesday, Feb. 23 - Wednesday, March 30, as a tribute to César Chávez’ 36-day hunger strike in 1988.

All donated items will go to our own campus community via the Dolphin Pantry. Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 23, please drop off items at the Dolphin Pantry (Arroyo Hall 114) or at the CCE Office (Ojai Hall 1934).

Follow CCE on Instagram @ci_serves to keep up with the latest news and events.
