Feb. 1, 2023 — There are three open forums in February where members of the CSUCI community can participate in the search for next chancellor of the CSU.

People can attend the following events in person or on Zoom or watch the livestreams. Registration is not required for in-person attendance or comment or livestream viewing.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at the CSU Office of the Chancellor in Long Beach. Sign up on the registration page for virtual public comment.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 8, from noon to 2 p.m., at CSU Bakersfield. Sign up on the registration page for virtual public comment.
  • Thursday, Feb. 9, from noon to 2 p.m. at San Francisco State University. Sign up on the registration page for virtual public comment.

For additional details, visit the Chancellor Search website. People also can submit feedback, complete a survey to help inform the search process, and nominate candidates online.

“These forums will serve as an invaluable opportunity for you to have your voice heard, speaking directly to the members of the committees that are guiding this comprehensive and inclusive recruitment,” said Wenda Fong, chair of the CSU Board of Trustees and the Implementation Committee for the Selection of the Chancellor.
