May 8, 2025 – Associate Professor of Management and Chair of the Business program
at CSUCI, Dr. Cindy Sherman, has been named among the “Top 50 Women in Business” by
the Pacific Coast Business Times.
This is the second time that Dr. Sherman has received this honor, having been recognized in 2024, too. The special recognition honors women who have made meaningful contributions to their community and achieved significant professional success.
“Dr. Cindy Sherman exemplifies what it means to be a leader in business education – visionary, dedicated, and deeply committed to our students and our region,” said Dean for the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics Susan Andrzejewski. “Her recognition is a testament not only to her professional achievements, but also to her tireless advocacy for our faculty and her unwavering focus on creating real opportunities for student and community success.”
Sherman received the award in a ceremony held in April at the Santa Barbara Hilton.
