Student Affairs was recognized with various awards held in November at the annual
NASPA Region VI Regional Conference. 
ASI Student Union Operations Coordinator, Clarissa Gaeta, received the NASPA Region VI Dorothy Keller New Professional Award. This award is presented to a new professional who is recognized by their supervisor and/or peers for outstanding service to their institution, as well as for their innovative or creative efforts within student affairs.
Brandon Langford, Director of Housing & Residential Education, received the NASPA Region VI JEDI Knight of Justice Award. The JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) Award is presented to a student affairs professional at a Region VI NASPA member institution who has demonstrated active involvement with JEDI through research, policies, and/or practice.
CSUCI's Summer Success Academy received the NASPA Region VI Innovative Program Award. The award is presented to an institution and/or group of individual(s) that has implemented an innovative program that furthers the growth of students, results in improved service to students, and/or enhances life on campus. As the award recipient, CSUCI was also invited to present a conference workshop session at the regional conference about the program to support other institutions/professionals learning and potentially being able to implement a similar program on their campus.
