On Thursday, Oct. 16 at 10:16 a.m., get ready to DROP where you are, COVER your head,
or get under a sturdy desk or table, and HOLD ON to something stable. Remain in place
until the simulated shaking stops.
This five-minute drill is part of the Great California ShakeOut, a worldwide earthquake preparedness exercise. This year, over 10 million Californians are expected to participate. No evacuation is required during this drill. We encourage all members of the campus community to participate in Thursday’s drill.
