April 18, 2024 – Jim De La Rosa, author of "Building the Apollo Capsules: An Engineer's Memoir of the Moonshot Program and Its Debt to Hispanic Team Members" will be on campus this Monday, April 22 to speak about his experience working on capsules for the Apollo 11 moon-landing mission.

De La Rosa will also share with attendees the impact and crucial contributions of Hispanic team members who worked on the Apollo program.

The event will be held at 5 p.m. in Aliso Hall 150, and the event is sponsored by SASEI, LSAMP, and the Chemistry department.
