May 1, 2025 – May 5 is the National Day of Remembrance for Missing and Murdered
Indigenous Women (MMIW), and on that day, CSUCI will welcome Jordan Dresser, a film
producer, director, and advocate for MMIW, who will present a screening of his film,
“Who She Is” at 7 p.m. in Del Norte Hall 1500.
“Who She Is” addresses critical issues affecting Native American communities and sheds a light on those who have gone missing or been murdered without justice.
Following the screening, Chumash Tribal member Marianne Parra will lead a Question and Answer session with Dresser as they discuss the film’s themes and the broader MMIW movement.
