Aug. 26, 2024 – CSUCI’s New Student Convocation marks the start of your journey here
at CSUCI and we want to help you make the most of it! Join us on Thursday, Sept. 5
at noon in the Grand Salon for this year’s New Student Convocation.
Your academic journey with us is just beginning and we want to make sure YOU have the support you need to achieve your goals and celebrate your success. Attendees will enjoy:
- Dolphin Pod Gathering: Come hear from professors and current students who will share their experiences and wisdom to help you navigate your college life successfully. Dive right into our latest CI tradition as you set the intentions for this new journey with our Ringing of Bells.
- Celebration and Networking: Join us for a celebration immediately following the convocation. Enjoy delicious food, network with your peers, and connect with faculty and staff.
- Leadership and Involvement Fair: Discover opportunities to get involved on campus. Learn about student organizations (clubs, sports, etc.), leadership programs, and various campus resources available to support your academic and personal growth.

Processional: All members of the campus community with a graduate degree (i.e., masters, doctoral or other terminal) are invited to participate in your academic regalia and be part of the processional at the start of the ceremony.
