Aug. 30, 2022 - As the Fall Semester starts, Information Technology Services (ITS) would like to remind the campus community about updating their personal devices.

Apple, Google, and Microsoft constantly release updates to secure their operating systems (OS), and these updates are sometimes deemed critical. Keeping your devices updated will help keep them free from malware and infections by running the most current versions of software and apps.

Installing security software, such as anti-virus, and enabling OS firewalls– can help detect threats to your computer. Checking your computer's OS and application software can be done weekly to reduce your chances of getting malware and keep your personal computer optimized.
