Nov. 1, 2022 - Research and Sponsored Projects is pleased to announce the availability of Pivot-RP, a web-based tool that provides access to a global source of funding opportunities and connections to potential collaborators at CSUCI, several sister campuses and beyond. Pivot-RP is available to all CSUCI faculty, staff, and students.
Pivot’s database contains funding opportunities for all disciplines and project types. It encompasses a wide variety of sponsor types, including federal government, private foundations, corporate and international funding organizations all in one easy to search tool.
Users can maximize the benefits of Pivot by using the User Profile feature to receive personalized funding recommendations targeted to their research interests, list their grants and connect to ORCID to import details of their publications, data sets, conference presentations and more. Profiles help users find potential collaborators, boost visibility of expertise across the institution and make it easy to match the right funding to the right researchers.
As a result of implementing Pivot-RP the university will terminate its subscription to InfoEd SPIN as of Dec. 31.
