March 22, 2022 - The Santa Rosa Island Spring 2022 Speaker Series continues this Thursday, March 24 at 5:30 pm on Zoom with Channel Islands Biosecurity Manager Juli Matos.

Juli is a Biosecurity Manager who works with Channel Islands National Park, the US Navy, and The Nature Conservancy. She promotes the importance of biosecurity through education and outreach, and implements strategies to promote island conservation. She will be speaking about student employment and volunteer opportunities with her department as well, so students are encouraged to join us!
Everyone is welcome at our events - they are meant to connect our CSUCI students with community members like Juli in order to further inspire folks to seek out unique opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration toward conservation efforts and goals.
Previous talks are available on our YouTube Channel.
