The University Ombuds Charter and Operating Procedures (PDF, 155KB) establish how the Ombuds Office operates as a confidential, independent, impartial and informal conflict resource at CSUCI within the bounds of CSU Executive Orders. After consultation with the Cabinet, Academic Senate Executive Committee, Staff Council and the Office of General Counsel, President Erika Beck approved the Charter on April 20, 2020. The Ombuds Charter supports CSUCI's commitment to the development of a fair and equity-minded campus where employees at all levels and from all backgrounds have the tools they need to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment.
