Enrollment Verifications
CSU Channel Islands participates in the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) process for providing enrollment verifications. Students, prospective employers, or other agencies may request enrollment verifications at www.degreeverify.org.
Enrollment verifications will generate immediately for students, but for an employer or agency initiated request, processing typically takes 2-5 business days. If a student has a Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) restriction, the written consent of the student is required by the NSC to release information.
If a student has an unpaid financial obligation to Channel Islands, the verification cannot be processed until payment has been made to the University. (SA.02.016)
Enrollment is typically verifiable after the first week of the semester. Online verifications are available to degree seeking students. Enrollment verifications through the NSC website will cost $2.50 per confirmed verification.
Any Extension Credit, non-degree seeking student must request an enrollment verification via Adobe Sign: Request for Official Enrollment Verification.

Completion of degree is typically verifiable 8-12 weeks after the official graduation date for the semester. Degree and dates of attendance verifications through the NSC website will cost $9.95 per confirmed verification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I tried to submit a request for verification, but I received an error. What do I do?
A: Some students will not be able to request verification through the NSC based on dates of attendance, or type of attendance.
If you attended CSU Channel Islands when the campus was affiliated with CSU Northridge, you will need to request your records under the Northridge campus.
If you attended CSU Channel Islands as an Extended Education (credit only) student, you will not be able to make a request through the NSC. You will need to visit the Enrollment Center in Sage Hall for more information.
Q: I owe money to the University. Can I still submit a request?
A: Yes, but your verification will not be generated or released until you have paid any monies owed to the campus.
