CSU Channel Islands is actively engaged in a CSU Chancellor’s Office initiative to upgrade the CI Personnel and CI Records systems to a new version. This is a required CSU systemwide initiative to maintain the systems’ software support requirement. The updates will help CSU Channel Islands and all of the CSU institutions better serve the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
Below is a timeline showing the important phases of the CI Personnel/CI Records systems PeopleTools 8.59 upgrade project:
- CMS Upgrades PSA environment – Pass 1: July 18, 2022 – July 22, 2022 (Completed)
- Campus ITS Dev/Build: July 25, 2022 – Sept 9, 2022 (Completed)
- Production Code Freeze: Sept 6, 2022 – October 31 (In-progress)
- Functional User Testing: Sept 22, 2022 – October 14, 2022 (In-progress)
- Move to Production: October 22, 2022, 6pm – October 23, 2022, 12pm
- User Validation: October 23, 2022, from 12pm to 5pm
- Go/No-Go Decision: October 23, 2022, at 5pm
- Release production jobs to catch up: October 24, 2022, at 6pm
- Official Go-Live October 24, 2022, at 5am
