The Engineer Shop provides a diverse, wide range of services for the campus including monitoring and adjusting the temperature conditions of the buildings, ensuring proper indoor air quality and correct mechanical conditions, and performing routine inspections of the campus elevators, handicap lifts, and all mechanical spaces. The Engineer Shop also uses a campus generated Preventative Maintenance system to ensure air filtration is changed at the proper intervals, provide system checks for the outside air quality levels, and identify mechanical conditions to be corrected. When there is a failure of the wide variety of components serving the spaces, the Engineer Shop surveys the conditions, analyzes the failure points, and adjusts or performs repairs as needed. The Engineer Shop also surveys the classrooms for HVAC noise levels to ensure the learning environment will be optimal for the students.
