Each year, CSUCI’s graduating class chooses to support a cause on campus as a way to leave their impact after they graduate.

As our graduating seniors are reflecting on their journeys at CI, they come together to support an effort that will fully benefit our students and inspire our future graduates. Through community engagement, teamwork, and collaboration, the Senior Class Gift Committee works in innovative ways to create change. This tradition has allowed our students to be the recipients of scholarships, basic needs, and receive the support they need to reach the commencement stage.

Supporting our fellow Dolphins starts here. Now is the time to inspire our future graduates to keep going and make your impact to an area on campus that speaks to you. Make your gift today!

In 2024: The graduating class supported The Basic Needs Program, which provides basic necessities for our students, faculty, staff and community members at no cost. The team surpassed their goal of $5,000, giving the Dolphin Pantry more opportunity to fund their program and support our Dolphins.

“I always wanted to find a way to contribute to my university, and this experience was exactly what I needed. I am very proud of this Senior Class Gift campaign, which will significantly impact the Dolphin Pantry. I hope to leave a legacy for future Senior Class Gift Representatives.”

In 2023: Our students created a new scholarship fund for our First-Generation Students, awarding 4 students with $1,250 each. These students are now able to continue their academic endeavors with financial relief.

"As a student whose education was made possible with scholarships, and someone who was (and remains) surrounded by first-generation individuals, I felt drawn to not only donate but to do my part in ensuring the opportunity of potential was given to more students."
