Immediately following the grand opening ceremony will be the Welcome Barbecue for students and the campus community. (While not open to the public, media are welcome to attend.)

WHERE:  

  • Anacapa Village Housing & Residential Education

WHAT:  

Anacapa Village, CSUCI’s first student housing facility, will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by students, family members, the University community, and local officials. The 350-person capacity complex features state-of-the art equipment and amenities in an apartment-like setting. Approximately 325 students are expected to begin moving in on Friday, August 27, in preparation for classes beginning on Monday.
