Camarillo, Calif., May 2, 2013, 10:24 a.m.- CSU Channel Islands (CI) has cancelled all classes and activities today, May 2 due to the Camarillo Springs Fire and heavy smoke drifting onto the campus. Business and administrative offices will also be closed. Travel on Potrero Road is not recommended.

Students who live in the Anacapa or Santa Cruz Villages should contact Housing staff for additional information or instructions.

The University will issue periodic news releases to the media with the latest information and status of the campus closure and when classes will resume. This information will be posted on the University website at www.csuci.edu or by calling the University's emergency information hotline at 805-437-3911.
