Nov. 10, 2018 – CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI) received notification from the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) that the mandatory evacuation has been lifted for CSUCI. However, the University announced that the campus will remain closed through the Veterans Day holiday on Monday, Nov. 12 and classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The University also notified University Glen and resident students as to when they can return to the campus.
For the remainder of the weekend, campus personnel will be working in earnest to clear debris, remediate air quality and prepare for the campus to reopen.
