Camarillo, Calif., November 15, 2004 - California State University Channel Islands has reorganized its fund-raising activities with the appointment of two new directors, Marti DeLaO as director of donor relations and Stephanie P. Herron as director of university development.

“These positions create a more organized and focused development effort,” said CSUCI President Richard R. Rush. “The two directors will give us a broader range of fund-raising options. Marti DeLaO and Stephanie Herron both bring a great deal of experience in fund-raising, particularly at the university level. We're very happy to have them on our development team.”

DeLaO is responsible for the operations of the CSUCI Foundation and the University's annual campaign, membership programs, and scholarship development, as well as grant research and writing.

She was formerly the CSUCI assistant director of development. Prior to that position, she was director of development for the Rubicon Theatre of Ventura, responsible for the annual fund,
