WHO: Author Sean Carswell, California State University Channel Islands lecturer of English

WHAT: “A Short Story Reading” by Sean Carswell, CSUCI lecturer in English. The author will read from his latest short story collection called Barney’s Crew.  His novel, Drinks for the Little Guy, has been optioned by Hymlique Films and Fifteen Bucks and a Cookie, a short story from his collection titled Glue and Ink Rebellion, is now in post-production as a short film. Carswell has performed readings at several universities and colleges. He is a resident of Ventura.

 The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. After the reading, the author will participate in a question-and-answer session on writing and publishing.
