The exhibit will include approximately 120 works of art, ranging in style and technique from traditional painting to experimental mixed media, figurative and abstract sculpture, graphic design, multimedia and hi-tech digital art, says Jack Reilly, professor of art and chair of the CSUCI art program.
“This is definitely a unique exhibition,” Reilly said. “It's quite unusual to present a show of both faculty and student artwork simultaneously within the same exhibition space. We feel the show offers a full view of the enormous creative output by both CSUCI students and the art program faculty. In addition, an outside juror will award the student art in the various categories.”
