Camarillo, California, October 31, 2002 - California State University Channel Islands announced today the appointment of Tanya Gonzales to the position of director of development. In this role, Gonzales will be responsible for fund raising activities for CSU's newest campus located in Camarillo, California.

Gonzales has been serving in a consultant capacity with the University since early September.
