Camarillo, Calif., April 28, 2003 - The community is invited to California State University Channel Islands' first Career and Internship Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. The fair is designed to reach out to college graduates as well as high school and beginning college students who want to learn what employers are looking for and how to prepare for employment.

More than 50 companies are participating in the fair held outdoors in the center of campus in front of the landmark Bell Tower Building. Representatives from such companies as Adelphia, InfoGenesis, Pepsi Bottling Group, and the cities of Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, and Oxnard plan to participate.

The fair is free and open to the public.
