May 11, 2018 - Please be aware that on Monday, May 14 the 2018 Amgen Tour of California Men’s Stage 2 bicycle race will begin at the Ventura Pier and travel through Ventura County, which may significantly impact your commute to CSUCI.
Road closures will be in place along the race route, which may delay your commute particularly as the race enters and passes through the City of Camarillo at approximately 12 p.m. (noon).
The cyclists will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the Ventura Pier and will travel through downtown Ventura, continue on Harbor Blvd. into Oxnard on Fifth Street, Victoria Avenue, Wooley Road, Rice Avenue, and again onto Fifth Street into Camarillo, before turning north onto Lewis Road where the peloton will continue to Moorpark, Somis, Ojai, and finish in Santa Barbara at approximately 3:43 p.m.
