Oct. 27, 2021 - Students from the Performing Arts department have written their own play under the mentorship of acclaimed playwright Marisela Treviño Orta. Camarillo Tales: Echoes in the Hills, is a collection of short plays inspired by the history, the lore of the land, the hospital, the people, and the campus.

The production is directed by Performing Arts Lecturers Hugo Carbajal and Laura Covault. The production will take place on the outdoor stage across from Malibu Hall. All audience members must wear a mask.

Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Nov. 4, 5, 6, 12, and 13; there will be one 2 p.m. show on Nov. 13.

Tickets range from $5-$15 and must be reserved online. CSUCI students can reserve a free ticket. There will be no tickets sold at the door.
