Oct. 1, 2019 - The Division of Business and Financial Affairs is excited to announce that CSUCI will have a new Campus Marketplace, a shopping source for commodity purchases for procurement card (P-Card) holders. This P-Card driven shopping site represents preferred vendors from across several CSU campuses, and ensures that you will receive the lowest contracted prices available to the University.
Users can search, shop, and purchase from over 40 suppliers on this shopping portal. Benefits include:
- The ease of internet shopping from any tablet, laptop, or mobile device
- Easy access to many of the vendors we currently use
- Contract pricing, with a potential savings of 17 – 29%
- Ability to view all orders placed in one place
- Eliminates the need for blanket order encumbrances
- Ability to extract purchase line detail
What happens next?
- Please review the rollout schedule for the Campus Marketplace to determine when you are scheduled to begin having access. The rollout schedule will be sent to P-Card holders in another communication next week.
- If the assigned timeframe does not work for you, please reach out to Asha Ramachandra at asha.ramachandra@csuci.edu to reschedule.
- Two weeks prior to the rollout date that you are assigned, you will receive a communication that includes user guides, video links, and related training material.
- You will go through training a week before the rollout.
