Camarillo, California, Oct. 22, 2019 — The CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI) Campus Reading Celebration scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23, has been postponed until next year; a date to be announced later.
Pulitzer Prize finalist Tommy Orange is ill and unable to speak at the event, which was scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. in the CSUCI Grand Salon.
Orange’s book, “There There,” was chosen as this year’s campus reading selection.
“We encourage everyone to build anticipation for the rescheduled event by reading and sharing this fantastic book,” said Assistant Professor of English Kimberly Vose.
