Feb. 28, 2020 - The first phase of installing new permeable pavers to replace the decomposed granite surface on the Central Mall between University Hall and the Bell Tower will be completed soon and access to University Hall will be available again the week of March 2.
The second phase of the project, located directly in front of the Bell Tower, will also begin the week of March 2 with the construction fence being relocated to the front of the Bell Tower. The fencing is necessary for everyone’s safety and to provide the construction crew with an area to work and store equipment and materials.
Central Mall signage will be available to direct pedestrians around the construction zone, as well as the attached campus project map that denotes pedestrian pathways and entrances into the Bell Tower building.
