Oct. 2, 2020 – The often blue skies and beautiful weather in southern California can sometimes distract from the reality of the state's air quality, a serious health and environmental hazard.

Did you know that Californians are four times more likely to experience serious air pollution-related problems? Air pollution is also attributed to one million school absences for children in California annually. While this may feel like a problem that is bigger than us, we can each take small steps every day to reduce pollution and improve local air quality.

Join us on Oct. 7 for Clean Air Day in California! Visit CSUCI's Clean Air Pledge to learn about what actions you can take and see the impact you can make. Take the Clean Air Pledge and join all the dolphins taking action to support clean air in our communities!
