Oct. 31, 2023 - The Cove Bookstore will be holding a non-perishable food goods and hygiene items donation drive during the month of November, and all donated items will go to CSUCI’s Basic Needs program.
Anyone who donates through the month of November also has the opportunity to be entered into a raffle to win some CSUCI merch!
Items being collected are:
- Shelf-stable foods such as canned soups, beans, meats, vegetables, and fruits
• Boxed meals such as pasta, cereal, hamburger helper, ramen, and rice
• Healthy snacks such as granola bars, oatmeal, and fruit and grain bars
• Bottle water
• New and unopened hygiene items such as soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, menstrual products, and sunscreen
To enter the raffle, show a team member at The Cove Bookstore the items you are donating before you place them in the donation bin. Each item will earn you one raffle ticket, and for every five items donated, you’ll receive an extra ticket. Please be sure to hold onto your tickets as proof of entry so you can verify if you win! Raffle winners will be announced on Friday, Dec. 1.

- Opened Items
- Expired Items
- Homemade food
- Perishable food
- Clothing
