Sept. 7, 2018 - When disaster strikes, first responders and non-governmental organizations will be on scene after a but they cannot reach everyone right away. The best way to make sure you and your family are safe is to be prepared before disaster strikes.
September is National Preparedness Month and Emergency Management will host their annual Emergency Preparedness Fair on Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m in the South Quad. Preparedness vendors will be on hand to provide information on making emergency plans and to demonstrate preparedness products. Additionally, fire extinguisher training and Sidewalk CPR will be available. Be sure to stop by and spin the wheel for various prizes and check out the displays for a chance to win!
