Sept. 21, 2022 - Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to share that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded $11,847 in continued funding to Professors Ahmed Awad, Cynthia Flores, and Blake Gillespie’s project, “Collaborative Research: AGEP Transformation Alliance: A California HIS Alliance for Pedagogy as Preparation for the Professoriate.”
The project provides pedagogical training and faculty career mentoring to prepare underrepresented minority (URM) doctoral students, who are advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D., for teaching-focused faculty careers at colleges and universities.
