Nov. 6, 2018 - Graduating students who are interested in opportunities to study and work abroad may be interested in the Fulbright Program. Since 1946, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program has provided an unparalleled opportunity to study, conduct research and serve as English teaching assistants abroad.
Participants are selected through a competitive, merit-based application process, and offers several benefits during the period of the grant. These include funding for round-trip travel, living expenses for one academic year, and healthcare benefits.
Applicants to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program must be U.S. citizens and hold a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) by the beginning of the grant period. Individuals may be, but are not required to be, currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of application. Early career professionals in a range of fields, including artists, are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Professor Andrea Grove, CSUCI's Fulbright Program Adviser, will host an information session on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. in Del Norte 3536 for those who are interested in learning more.
